I have been working with Lisa Trujillo since February, 2023. We had been friends for many years but drifted due to life's demands and distance. We, however, remained friends on Facebook.

I recently came to Lisa broken, alone and not knowing who I was, as God saw me. I have known the Lord, but have been strayed away from Him from many years and my world was in a world wind of darkness. I had just begun to search for a church home and renew my relationship with our Lord and Savior. At the same time, I saw an uplifting post on Lisa's FB page and I responded to her saying "thank you, I really needed to hear this". The Lord lead Lisa to send me a private message asking me if everything was OK, of which I responded "No I'm not." She contacted me and explained to me who she is in Christ and asked me permission to mentor and begin a Bible Study with me.

Throughout the short period that I've been working with Lisa, she has taught me how to rely on God's strength, how to trust in Him, how to pray, and how to rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus.

She has been my support, my teacher, my friend and my mentor. Her empathetic nature and manner in which she listens and teaches the Word has been a blessing to me.

Whenever, I have a question or a concern, she doesn't hesitate to explain and even drop what she's doing to call me to explain further, pray and teach me. I have been seeing a therapist for over two years and in the three brief short months I've been under Lisa's mentorship, I have grown more as an individual, have strengthened my faith and grown in my knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I feel that my time spent with Lisa has more than surpassed the progress that I've made with the therapist. I am on a path of healing and am seeing who I am in Christ. I no longer suffer from depression and have the Godly armor needed to be released from the anxiety that was part of my old image. But with Lisa's tutelage I have repented, released my old image and have put on my new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

I highly recommend Lisa Trujillo for Christian counseling and mentoring, as the Lord has truly equipped and prepared her for this role. I believe that anyone that she has mentored, just like me, will be blessed by their learned growth in who they are in Christ.

I met Lisa three years ago when I was going through in my marriage. I ended up walking away from my marriage because of the toxicity and abuse.

Once I was free, I had to take a hard look at myself. I asked some hard questions and sought help from God. Now, this didn't happen instantly. At first, I played the victim, then I ran in hopes of avoiding my reality, and from there, I began to spiral.

I reached out to Lisa, who invited me to a prayer group. Each time I got on the calls, I was triggered by the conversations of marriage.

I shared this with Lisa, and she shared that she was going to be doing Bible studies. I told her to count me in. As we grew through the Bible studies, the opportunity to go through healing was presented. I was on the call with Lisa and David. They prayed for me, spoke into me, and walked me through deliverance.

My biggest root was rejection, and it has been a journey to overcome. You see, the ax was laid to the root through prayer, but the layers had to be revealed.

My entire life, I was rejected.

From the womb, throughout childhood, into adulthood, and throughout adulthood, I was rejected. I ended up in the wrong relationship because I was trying to please people or prove to myself I was deserving.

I needed this broken off of me, and that's just what God did. He set me free from relationships that didn't serve me. Free from people who didn't want me, and He set me free from me.

I appreciate Lisa's ministry so much because God used her to usher me into freedom.

Our Bible studies helped me to want to do the work, and I pray you'll want to do the work for you, too. Be encouraged! God is greater than anything or anyone we face.
